Job Summary : 

The Supply and Demand Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating supply chain activities related to forecasting demand and ensuring that inventory levels meet customer and production needs. The role involves working closely with sales, production, and logistics teams to balance supply and demand, prevent shortages or excesses, and optimize inventory management.

Key responsibilities : 
  • Demand Forecasting:
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to collect and analyze data for accurate demand forecasting.
    • Monitor trends, historical data, and market analysis to adjust forecasts accordingly.
    • Ensure forecast accuracy and make adjustments based on real-time market changes.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure inventory levels meet demand without overstocking.
    • Monitor stock levels and initiate orders or production schedules to prevent shortages.
    • Work with logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Supply Chain Coordination:
    • Maintain communication between suppliers, production, and distribution teams to align supply and demand.
    • Identify potential supply issues and work to resolve them before they impact production or customer satisfaction.
    • Optimize the flow of goods from suppliers to production and from production to customers.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Generate reports on supply and demand trends, inventory levels, and forecasting accuracy.
    • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in supply chain efficiency.
    • Provide regular updates to management on inventory and supply chain performance.
Key skills & Competencies : 
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on demand forecasting and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities across different teams.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management tools and software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems).
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications : 
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience within supply chain – specifically in a supply demand planning or a very closely related discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with supply chain systems, demand forecasting software, and Excel proficiency.
Proficiency in spoken and written English and French is essential.
