The transport manager is responsible for directing, coordinating, planning, overseeing tasks and operations within Hicha Joy involving all transportation activities.

The job holder is responsible for ensuring that the legal requirements for road transport are complied with.

He is responsible for the day-to-day running of the transportation, ensuring a safe and reliable bus and car services to transport employees to and from Hicha Joy.

Main responsibilities include:

- Direct all transportation activities

- Make sure vehicles are properly maintained

- Inspecting vehicles

- Day to day management of the transportation

- Develop weekend duty bus and cars lists and routes

- Arranging repairs and routine maintenance

- Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications

- Reducing the risk of vehicle overloading

- Maintaining and completing accurate records

- Keeping schedules and organizing employees' transport

- Sending weekly car planning

- Responsible for organizing and oversee all routine vehicle checks and adhering to both company and   

  statutory requirements.

-  Being aware of all transport legislation and procedures to ensure company compliance.

-  Identify staff that require on-going training and implement training opportunities to ensure their skills are

   improving

Exigences de l'emploi

- Master, Engineer in mechanics or logistics and its derivatives (Electromechanical)

- Qualifications relevant to transportation management

- 5 years proven experience in scheduling bus routes, vehicle maintenance, and employee management

- Good command of English language, both spoken and written

- Direct, Excellent negotiation, communication and people management skills 

- Strong organizational and time management abilities
