## Description

An ETL Developer is involved in the effective implementation of informatica programs, he is asked to perform tests, to evaluate the requirements, to resolve the associated issues by debugging and documenting the programs. He is responsible of translating the functional requirements so as to meet the specified technical requirements.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the informatica developer is also asked to:

  * Make efforts to understand business needs and design Data Exchange programs that match business requirements and write down all technical and functional specifications involved in development and coding process.
  * Develop ETL processes, design and prepare program codes that meet Data Exchange program specifications using Informatica PowerCenter tool.
  * Review these specifications and programs to ensure high levels of quality and ensure that all the standard and best practice have been met.
  * Write down technical documentation corresponding to the work assignment.
  * Organize, describe and document the complete unitary tests of developments,
  * Develop test plans so that the programs can be checked to ensure their applicability with no regression generation.
  * Resolve and escalate the issues on time and help in the support and maintenance activities.

**The candidate will have:**  

  * Bachelor’s degree in computer science or have any other equivalent qualification,
  * Knowledge in ETL tools (Extraction - Transcodification - Loading, ETL informatica PowerCenter) and DataBases application
  * Knowledge in Data Migration acquired during an ERP project implementation would be a plus,
  * Knowledge in SAP is a plus
  * Good English level
