## Description

Bank ABC is reinforcing its Credit department with the recruitment of a **Remedial Loan Officer**.  

**1- Principal Responsibilities & Accountabilities: **  

·  Maintains constant efforts to meet budgeted targets.

·  Prepare relevant action plans and legal files for defaulting customers to submit to the respective committee for approval.

·  Submit recovery arrangements to the local credit committee (LCCC).

·  Attend meetings with remedial clients to negotiate an amicable settlement.

·  Follow up with the relevant departments to ensure they are providing all the necessary information to the legal department or the external law firms to carry out their activities.

·  Detect operational risk incidents and report them to the operational risk manager.

·  Assist and liaise with lawyers, bailiffs and debt recovery companies.

**2- Education & Experience: **  

·  Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or equivalent.

·  Master’s degree is a plus. 

·  3 to 5years experience in retail banking is a plus. 

**3- Personal Attributes & ****Knowledge:  **

·  Organized, detail-oriented and accurate in work. 

·  Good Negotiator, with experience to deal with concerned clients.

·  Self-motivated and high level of numerical accuracy.

·  Good communication and writing skills in Arabic, French and English. 

·  Effective use of MS Office. 

·  Knowledge of internal procedures and organizational notes (receivables collection, management consolidation credits, Risk Rating & Provisioning procedures, etc.)
