Manufacturing Engineering

Responsible for the introduction of new products to manufacturing.

Key Accountabilities

• Detailed definition of manufacturing standards and requirements needed for production
• Machinery specification and commissioning
• Definition and documentation of new manufacturing processes – including ongoing continuous improvement
• Provide training to operators on new processes introduced into assembly
• Successfully hands over new products into full production to the Production Engineering team
• Provides technical expertise
• Produces prototype and pre-production product batches
• Supports the development of the department in line with our QMS

Essential:

Demonstrable experience in a similar role

Hands on experience in assembly of prototypes and subsequent testing

Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Previous experience of new product introduction

Experience in PFMEA and Control Plan creation

Ability to demonstrate technical ideas

Previous experience of developing and defining new manufacturing processes

Willingness to travel abroad when the business requires this of you.
