## Description

Position Summary

As a Chief Accountant, your main role will be to supervise the accounting team and to ensure compliance with the legal and fiscal obligations of the company’s accounting

Your Role:

  * Ensure the legal compliance of all the company’s transactions with accounting standards (USGAAP, Accounting Tunisia)

  * Ensure the certifications and declarations necessary for the activity of the company

  * Analyze general accounts and ensure their compliance

  * Ensure the communication of the necessary data for the central office and the statutory auditor

  * Respond to feedback from external auditors

  * Define the corrective and preventive action plan as part of your activities and ensure its monitoring

  * Support the accounting team in solving problems

  * Train the team on new accounting and legislative regulations and requirements to keep them updated

Your Background:

  * Bachelor's or Master's degree In accounting or equivalent

  * At least 3 years of experience as a chief accountant with team management experience

  * Good fiscality knowledge

  * Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders

  * Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  * Good verbal and written communication in English, Additional languages are preferred
