What are we looking for?

At the request of our enterprise client, we are in search of a motivated and determined Mid-Senior Project Engineer to deliver end-to-end a national-size PSIM (physical security information management)/Smart-Building project. You will be working with a security/BMI software (AppVision™) that integrates physical security technologies (access-control, video, fire, intrusion etc.). This is an appealing opportunity for someone with at least 3 to 6 years of software experience.

What activities you would do / Responsibilities

Your main goal is to execute and deliver the on-going project until its end. As the scope and the requirements of the project are already defined, you will only need to analyse, clarify and execute the new requests that come in. This can include, among others, doing needs analysis, clarifying specifications, developing code, documenting and trouble shooting.

• Conduct testing and validation of PoCs
• Collaborate with other engineers/developers and stakeholders to deliver the project
• Developing scripts or no-code/low-code snippets
• Address technical issues and provide technical support (work on troubleshooting issues)
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on systems to ensure proper functioning
• Review and revise technical documents such as reports, manuals, and drawings
• Develop, deliver, or facilitate training sessions or tech presentations to partners and clients

Your technical skills

• You are a professional in .Net, WPF, XAML technologies.
• You easily work with API/SDKs, TCP/IP and Network programming.
• You are familiar with Microsoft SQL database management system.
• You have hands-on experience with network troubleshooting and network configuration and are familiar with troubleshooting tools like Fiddler and Wireshark.
• You are able to write documentation on the work you’re doing.
• Nice to have: You have the capacity to understand technical discussions on standard protocols (BACnet, KNX, Modbus, SNMP, OPC UA, XML).
• Nice to have: You have the capacity to learn about hardware and software (fire, intrusion, access control, video surveillance etc.).
