Procurement Manager

-Responsibilities for all procurement activities regarding the raw material for production

-Supervising the procurement activity so that the correct procedures be followed, and the performance norms and proposed objectives be achieved 

-Responsibilities for the raw material stock level, with the aim to reduce the inventory to a minimum necessary with the stock from the production area, identifying troublesome areas which work too slowly, or which are too old, using proper ways to improve the stock level in any situation 

-He assists in the procurement activity by specific methods so that the production plans be correctly interpreted, and the materials needs for production be always available at the planned time 

-He negotiates with the suppliers and supervises the orders launch

-Responsible for raw material affected by design changes or production transfers during the current year 

-Continually updates the research for resources and the improvement of the already existing ones 

 -Administrates the planned budget/forecast for the raw material in the plant and makes sure they keep in the limits of the budget 

-Accurately implements the work procedures according to the quality standards applicable inside the plant 

-Participates in transport planning/coordinating activities to optimize them as well as in improving raw material stock activities
