Kumulus aims to solve the problem of drinking water scarcity in Africa and the Middle East by designing machines that use solar power to transform the humidity in the air into drinkable water.

The position

As Operations Manager, you will be building and implementing the industrialization vision in Tunisia allowing the company to go from prototype stage to manufacturing and operating thousands of machines.

Your role will include, without being limited to:

• Build and follow up with the processes, dashboards and KPIs related to the manufacturing of the machines
• Find and maintain the relationship with technical partners and subcontractors both nationally and internationally
• Build and follow up with the quality control of the manufacturing phase
• Supervise production operations in coordination with partners
• Supervise and prepare industrialisation process with partners
• Lead the maintenance of the machines that were deployed

This is a full time position, based in Tunis and which can start as soon as possible

Qualifications required

• 5 years + experience in the industry field (as an operator and not as a consultant) with strong exposure to matters related to quality control and certifications
• Fluent in Arabic , English and French
• Have the flexibility to go from board room to the field (operate, repair and fix problems)
• Professional experience in the industries of fridges and air conditioners is a strong plus
• Team players, self-motivated person with an entrepreneurial spirit
