Site Merchandiser – Italian Speaking

Overview:

Join Pens.com as an integral member of our ecommerce team. We want our customers to be able to easily find the best promotional products to help them grow their business. We're looking for a Site Merchandiser who will help create a high converting website experience that our customers love to shop. You will be a dynamic optimizer, using data analytics and collaboration with other teams to make pens.com a best-in-class destination for promotional products.

What you will do:

• Execute the website marketing and merchandising plans in our Italian and Swiss markets
• Implement site content features to improve customer experience
• Ensure all pages have the proper product assortments
• Optimize pages using sorting strategies and automation for improved site performance
• QA sites and creative to ensure a great customer experience
• Partner with Product Merchandising team to maintain excellent product data quality to drive automation and compelling shopping pages
• Analyze reports to find actionable insights to inform data-driven merchandising decisions
• Partner with the technology and product teams to understand our systems (CMS, PIM, etc.) and tool functionality and advocate for efficiencies with existing tools

What we need from you:

• 3+ years of relevant ecommerce experience
• Fluent in Italian and proficient in English
• Hands-on experience with project management tools (Asana, Jira), content management systems, and product information systems
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Analytics
• Understanding of digital marketing programs that drive site traffic (paid search, SEO, email, display, social)
• Understanding of the need for mobile-first experiences
• Proven track record for making data-driven decisions and exceeding business goals
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Self-starter with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment
• Excellent time management and attention to detail. Must be able to hit deadlines and move projects through to completion with minimal supervision
