Overview of Role:  

The main functions of this role include assisting the Pricing Manager in setting prices, supporting the Merchandising team in determining an appropriate pricing structure based on competitor pricing analysis, conducting research to determine appropriate product price ranges as well as undertaking margin reports.

This person will also support the pricing and competitive analysts in identifying competitors on the market, collect, process and analyze the information captured on competitor’s websites, help presenting detailed analysis on specific competitor’s products and recommend solutions to optimize company’s performance. This individual will apply strong proven analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and industry knowledge of best practices while working closely with team members and other departments within National Pen Group.

Primary tasks:

·Pricing Assistance – co-operate with pricing analyst to maintain master pricing file and collaborate with the operations director, and sales and marketing teams to determine the pricing strategy. Communicate special offers to all relevant parties including the sales, marketing / web team and the salesforce team

·Pricing Analysis – work closely with Merchandising team to analyse market trends and translate complex data into reports and presentation and recommend pricing strategies that align closely with these trends.

·Merchandising Analysis – monitor product categories, identify trends in sales and supply strategies to minimize stockouts while maximizing inventory turns

·Margin report – check margin reports on a weekly basis, find out why some orders are being entered with low prices/margins and create a summary to share with management team

·Manage product email request box - Work on the product request email box as part of a team, ensuring timely response to questions from team

·Global projects – Goldstar’s merchandising team is now a global team, so this role will require working on projects for both the EU and NA markets

·Price quotes – work on pricing quotes for customer enquiries and potential orders

·Other duties and projects and admin tasks , including support for other Goldstar teams (mainly Marketing team) as required

 Support tasks:

·Competitive Analysis – work closely with pricing/competitive analyst in conducting extensive research to identify market trends, new business opportunities and competitor’s strategies.

·Competitor’s SWOT Analysis – Identify competitors’ strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to better understand their business and use this to improve company’s performance.

·Compliance – process team’s requests on compliance, work with compliance dept to collect the required certification and share them with the team.

    What we need from you:

Desirable experience and qualifications

·Work experience as a Project Manager within a similar industry

·Experience within a fast paced Contact Centre environment

·Customer focused

     Key Skills and attributes

·Language - Proficient written and oral English is essential. Italian/French/German as 2nd language would be a plus

·Analytical skills including critical thinking, data analysis, research, and communication

·Excellent ability to deal with numbers and pricing with a mathematical approach is crucial

·Proficiency in computer skills MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM database. Oracle experience is essential

·Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly

·Ability to cope under demanding pressure

·Possess excellent problem solving, listening and organisational skills

·Ability to drive change and performance

·Excellent time management skills

·Strong planning, reporting, and networking skills
