Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Arabic & Islamic Teacher to join our international school's academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Arabic language, Islamic studies, and culture to students of various ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Arabic language and Islamic studies lessons that meet the needs and abilities of students.

• Teach students to read, write, speak, and understand Arabic, and provide opportunities for practice and reinforcement of language skills.

• Teach Islamic studies, including Islamic history, values, and principles, and promote an understanding and appreciation of Islamic culture and traditions.

• Evaluate and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor individual student performance.

• Develop and implement teaching strategies and methodologies that effectively promote student learning and engagement.

• Use a variety of instructional techniques and resources to enhance learning and facilitate student understanding, including audiovisual materials, technology tools, and cultural immersion activities.

• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal growth of students.

• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school administration on matters relating to student performance and academic progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Arabic Language or Islamic Studies, or a related field.

• Relevant teaching certification or qualifications.

• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies.

• Native or near-native fluency in Arabic language.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to students, colleagues, and parents.

• Experience in an international school environment is desirable.
