Mission

As Head of SEO, you will be responsible for our SEO strategy across all international and multi-languages Apprentus websites and you will ensure our products, content, and engineering roadmaps align with our SEO audience growth goals. You will work in conjunction with other members of the Acquisition, Product, and IT teams to prioritize tasks and implement strategies. You should have a passion for delivering comprehensive solutions and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.

Your main tasks will be to:

●  Develop and implement SEO strategies that increase our rankings and organic traffic

• Develop, facilitate and coach an SEO data-driven approach to drive growth results

●  Increase our international reach on search engines

●  Develop our backlinks campaigns

●  Develop our content strategies

●  Execute technical onsite optimization such as site markup, meta tagging, schema structures hreflang, URL structure… for attribute-driven landing pages

●  Use tools to perform regular crawls of Apprentus sites to identify issues that affect crawl quality

●  Utilize Google Search Console to measure search traffic and performance

●  Estimate development effort, resource allocation and plan implementations

●  Provide clear, specific data-driven goals to drive results

●  Communicate performance feedback regularly through reports and meetings

The ideal candidate should have:

●  3-5 Years of experience in product-led SEO preferably at a two-sided marketplace company, or e-commerce company

●  2 Years of experience with international and multi-languages websites

●  Experience working on large scale, high-traffic websites

●  Proven track record of achieving business results through user-centered SEO

●  Experience working directly with product, content and IT teams

●  A well-rounded background in SEO, including on-page, off-site, and technical SEO and understand scalable SEO growth levers

●  Demonstrated SEO growth hacking success

●  A strong grasp of SEO metrics and tools. You're able to identify which SEO KPIs matter most and know how to effectively use SEO tools (e.g., Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog)

●  Data-driven decision making abilities. You utilize data (both quantitative and qualitative) to understand patterns, make decisions, apply learnings, and identify opportunities

●  Well-versed in SEO content research, creation, and optimization

●  Scrappy and resourceful mentality. You're able to come up with creative ways to achieve SEO needs given resources at hand

●  Structured thinking with a strong intuition on priorities & trade-offs. You can generate and rank-order multiple potential solutions
