Laravel Developer

Job Description:
● Demonstrable experience with PHP including OOP, security, refactoring & design patterns.
● Develop, record, and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium
service platforms
● Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
● Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications
● Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
● Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API
● Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and
process issues
● Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
● Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager/Scrum Master well informed of the status
of development effort and serves as a liaison between development staff and project manager
● Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
● Working knowledge of version controlling systems like Git, clear understanding of Gitflow workflow,
repository management tools like BitBucket, and understanding of overall CI/CD process.
● Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
● Be a part of a full-stack creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software
development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing, and launching. (Contribute
in all phases of the development lifecycle) .
● Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
Job Requirements:
● Solid experience in microservice architecture
● Solid experience in Apache Kafka
● Work in new and exciting projects and products team, using latest technologies.
● In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework.
● Experience in SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design and development including
implementation of oAuth2.0 for authentication and authorization.
● Good knowledge of RDBMS (C), database designing and query optimization techniques
● Experience in unit testing using testing frameworks like PHPUnit/phpspec is a plus.
● Strong understanding of algorithms, design patterns, and data structure
● Be able to absorb, rapidly, new technical information as required.
● Creative and efficient problem solver
● Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
● BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
● Knowledge of PHP web frameworks. (Such as Yii, Codeigniter, etc…) is a plus
● Working with familiar PHP CMS’s. (Such as WordPress, OpenCart, etc…) is a plus
● Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay, Firebase, etc…)
● Know how to build an auditing system and logs
● Able to Work with VPS Servers
