Virtual Reality Developer

The Company of Development and Exploitation of Zarzis Economic Activities, based in Zarzis

is looking for the recruitment of  a “Virtual Reality Developer” to support the Company’s growth

in the ICT Sector especially Virtual Reality and its implementation in Zarzis  Smart Center.

1.  Summary

The VR Developer is responsible for developing Virtual Reality applications & educational contents using 3D development tools.

2.  Principal duties and responsibilities

1. Develop educational, gaming,… contents based on Virtual Reality and 3D development.
2. Develop contents for Virtual Reality devices (cave system).
3. Develop Real Time Virtualization contents.
4. Use Tracking system and 3D Projection.
5. Abide by all rules and regulations, in particular the IT policies and procedures.

3.  Reporting

Reports to: Sales Manager & General Manager

Internal Relationships:  All Commercial & technical staff.

External Relationships: Partners, Customers, National and International companies, Universities, Higher Education R&D, ...

4.  Qualification Requirements

To perform this work successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and / or abilities required.

• Experience in Virtual Reality development.;
• Track record in developing Virtual Reality solutions;
• Experience in 3D software development;
• Demonstrated knowledge of the IT industry;
• Strong communication and presentation skills;
• Experience in complex integrated environment;
• Experience in 3D software (Unity3D, Maya, Unreal, 3DsMax, Revit, Sketchup, and Solidworks;
• Experience in Real Time Virtualization;
• Experience in Tracking system and 3D projection.

5.  Education and Experience

• University degree in Computer Science of Computer Engineering;
• High level interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and verbal in Arabic, French and English.
