DevOps Engineer

Job Details:
Experience Needed: minimum +6 years experience


Responsibilities and Duties:
● Develop and integrate tools/scripts to automate the process of development/deployment.
● Assure required security level for the infrastructure, datastores, and the different environments:
production/staging/development.
● Handle critical production issues and prepare an incident report
● Perform root cause analysis for production issues
● Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
● Work closely and support the dev team with the infrastructure and architecture decisions,
debugging production issues, new services deployment.
● Maintain our datastores, monitor the load, design and implement backup and restore plans.
● Installing, configuring and monitoring different environments (Nodejs, LAMP, LEMP) and
database systems (Mysql, Mongodb).
Requirements:
● 3-5 Solid years experience in software development life cycle
● Software Engineering background
● Familiarity with different open source web development languages/frameworks, and how
they’re deployed (ex: NodeJS, PHP, Python, etc..)
● Solid experience in Linux system administration
● Solid experience in Oracle Cloud and AWS
● Experience in Linux containers, container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
● Good knowledge of MySQL & Mongodb administration.
● Excellent troubleshooting in linux, Apache, Nginx, Mysql , SSHD.
● Familiar with web servers (nginx & Apache) and php environment.
● Experience with CI/CD principles, architecture, and operations.
● Deep understanding of standard networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS,
TCP/IP, the OSI Model, networking and load balancing.
● Good knowledge of cyper security.
● Good communication skills.
● Sense of ownership.
