Role Purpose:
The role will primarily be responsible for the daily execution of plan and delivery of customer support while liaising with respective sales and GA team
The position will be responsible for deploying the TS tools/services and creating positive disposition of Coats products, demonstrating value adding advantages of product to customers and delivering high quality technical services to customers 
 
Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:
Technical Advisory Services:
  • Engage technically with customers on the basic common problems and solutions that Coats recommends.
  • Build and promote strong, long lasting relationships with customers 
  • Recommend Coats’ technical tools as appropriate and assist customers to select the correct product based on their needs 
  • Illustrate the characteristics and merits of products and better combinations of fabrics, machines, needles and other equipment to the customers 
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provides sales support and complaint handling guidance, whenever required,
  • Address basic technical  complaints and problems 
  • Handle post sales maintenance & upgrade activities & ensure that any problems are resolved within standard time allotted for the nature of complaint.
  • Demonstrate settings, adjustments of sewing machines to overcome breakages, puckering and other sewing related problems in the production floor
  • Work with Technical Services Managers  to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Gather business intelligence to support formulation of sales strategies and plans to assist sales team for effective sales forecast and to meet volume and value targets for apparel threads. 
  •  Provide support to implement global projects 
  • Effective utilization of the marketing, promotional materials developed by the marketing team
Business Development:
  • Assist Technical Services Managers to prepare and deliver technical presentations and conduct technical seminars explaining      products and services to our existing customers as well as prospective customers
  • Support Technical Service Manager 
  • Support new product launch and penetration in the market place  
  •  Help in investigating and analysing market trends, new materials and needs and recommend new promotional strategies
  •  Actively develop the contact map to generate new sales opportunities
Training and Development:
  • Help train the sales team on the technicalities of threads and applications
 
Requirements :
  • Textile engineer
  • Experience in garment manufacturing/textile
  • French- Arabic speaking  / English should be min upper intermediate / Italian should be native speaker level (MUST)
  • Responsible areas : Italy, Tunisia, Morocco and all French speaking countries
  • Flexible for business trips
  • Located in Tunisia
  • Driving licence must
  • Manager of a team
