## Description

CMR GROUP is looking for its future Design Engineer, the main mission will be to support the Global_Design_Engineering_Manager to achieve consistency and progress by leading design projects packages and projects to agreed timelines applying CMR Group processes and standards. 

 

Key_accountabilities

\- Accountable for timely and accurate completion of design projects/work packages assigned

\- Current and new product design activity, including initial design and subsequent design changes

- #3D_Design of wiring_system products using Creo

\- Responsible for effectively completing design tasks that are assigned

\- Single point of contact for the project team and / or customer for the projects

\- Integrate with customers to develop design solutions

\- Escalation of any issues within a project in a timely manner

\- Coordinate with Global Design Engineering Manager and other team members regularly to work toward common goals and priorities

\- Ensure key design milestones are achieved through projects

\- Liaise with manufacturing to ensure that design are feasible for manufacture

\- Liaise with purchasing team to ensure components and materials specified are accessible

\- Work as part of project teams and ensure that design actions and

\- Support customer design review requirement

\- Drive improvement to design process

Standards & Requirements (certification or clearance)

 

1. 2 or 4 year degree in #CAD_design, drafting, or engineering

2. Previously worked within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment.

3. Requires excellent communication & negotiation skills.

4. Be a team player whilst also having the drive and ability to work on their own.

5\. Understanding of quality system ISO 9001
