Accounting Manager

• GROUP ACCOUNTING: Implement the Group accounting hub in Tunis

  • Define Group chart of accounts and accounting processes (IFRS norms)

  • Recruit, train and supervise junior accounting team

  • Prepare monthly Group consolidated financial statements

  • Prepare monthly local GAAP financial statements for all subsidiaries

• AUDIT: Liaise with external auditors (Group and subsidiary level)

• TAX: Liaise with Group and subsidiary tax advisors for regular tax returns production

• TAX: Protect the company from various tax risks

• REPORTING: Produce the various reporting required by authorities, investors, and partners

• COMPLIANCE: Maintain compliance across the Group

• OTHERS: Other tasks and responsibilities could possibly be linked to the position according to the needs and growth of the company

Qualifications

• You are at least a postgraduate (Bac+5) with a master in Accounting

• You have at least 5 years of professional experience as an accountant or working in an external audit firm

• An experience in a multinational company is a plus

• Comfortable with French and English languages (written and spoken)

• Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages

• Ability to perform all tasks in a confidential manner
