We are currently seeking a Platform and IS Engineer to join our Network Operations Center.
1. Manage Incidents:
Monitor using the Fault Management System instance for identified events/triggers for applications,
Escalate and Report alerts on time, according to Incident Management process,
Handle service & Resource Alarm of agreed parameters/triggers,
Identify Incidents and filter events,
Prepare and maintain Documentation, Reports, and provide follow-up status on identified tasks.
2. Performance monitoring:
Performance Monitoring of the applications in scope,
Identify the affected application and the customer impact,
Record incident details in the trouble ticketing system and ensure completeness,
Provide incident resolution, workaround, or route it to an identified support team,
Provide War Room performance monitoring and Special Event Assurance performance monitoring.
3. Near Real Time Monitoring:
Monitor applications in scope in near real-time to help reactiveness in response to customer experience issues and ensure a seamless customer experience,
Escalate service quality issues to Technology Assurance and Back office teams as per standard trouble ticketing mechanism and align with fault management,
Define and implement relevant processes of monitoring, incident management, etc. between relevant stakeholders.
- IT infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Firewalls, Network equipment),
- Middleware Layer (OS, DB, Backup),
- OSS| BSS application CRM/Provisioning/ Reporting/ Digital Apps/ IVR-Speechlog/ Remedy (ITSM, CS Remedy, BTOM),
- Good experience with Network Management Systems, advanced browser/tool-based, alerting tools, and standard SNMP monitoring,
- Experience working with Service Desk ticketing systems, with a heavy emphasis on maintaining tickets,
- Excellent command of English( written and spoken),
- Great communication and presentation skills,
- Previous experience in a customer-oriented environment is highly appreciated.
- SysAdmin and support Linux (Redhat like Debian like),
- SysAdmin and support (Windows server, windows desktop),
- Virtualization VMWare (KVM or other is a plus),
- Docker Management,
- Linux fundamentals and scripting,
- Manage ActiveDirectory, GPO, Powershell Script,
- Programming Language: Spring boot, Java, Python.
- MCSA, MCSE, VCP, CCNA, CISSP, or any other industry certifications are plus,
- ITSM, ITIL, etc. is a plus.
