The reservation agent is responsible for a diverse range of reservation related functions and activities to ensure accurate processing of requests while maintaining a high-standard customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process different room reservations as requested by Tour Operators.
• Maintain a 24hr turnaround policy for all queries.
• Handle customer queries promptly and efficiently.
• Liaise with contracting department to ensure reservations are within valid contracts.
• Liaise with operations department for other areas of booking (excursions, transfers, special requests).
• Gain thorough knowledge of inbound tour operator software (ITOS) features.
• Process cancellations, amendments or any booking adjustments.
• Maintain records of all room reservations.
• Ensure last-minute changes are dealt with promptly.
• Ensure any errors are rectified before client arrival.
• Consult with other Reservation Agents and inform them of any delays.
• Prepare reports on all Reservation activities.

Qualifications:

University or diploma degree in tourism or related field.

Skills:

• MS Offices
• French & English (Written and Spoken)
• Other language is an asset.
