Analog RF IC designer

Overall responsibilities and duties:

o The ASIC Analog RF Design Engineer will be of the design of Analog RF IP for FCE ASIC products.

ASIC Analog RF design scope includes :

o Design, simulation and layout of Analog RF IP

o Documentation of Analog RF IP

o Support for software driver implementation

o Support for performance qualification

Responsibilities:

o Perform subsystem design of LNAs, Mixers, PLLs, LO generation, baseband filters, ADC/DAC or other analog blocks

o Bring own design from schematic to layout and verification using EDA tools from Cadence

o Define and participate in bring-up and validation of FCE ASIC

o Support production test

o Support integration of designed ASIC in FCE products

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be:

o Master/Bachelor of Engineering degree in Micro-Electronics/Semiconductors/Computer Science.

o Proficient in English

o Prior experience of minimum 5 years in architecture and design of RF

receivers and related subsystems (Mixers, LNAs, PLL, etc.)

o Experience of driving chips into volume production

o Experience of EDA tools from Cadence

Skills and competencies:

Must have:

o Wireless systems fundamentals (e.g. AM, FM, DAB, etc.)

o Analog design fundamentals (e.g. Opamps, LDOs, oscillators, bias, calibration)

o Solid understanding of CMOS processes and knowledge of device physics

o Architecture and design of RF receivers
