We are currently growing and looking for an ambitious and highly-motivated Data Scientist to join our team.

You will be based in our office in Tunis and will be working closely with our CEO. 

What You’ll Do

• Understand the business context of the use cases. 

• Evaluate the availability and quality of data in relation to the AI Product Owner and Data Engineers. 

• Explore data in depth and prepare datasets. 

• Identify the right AI/Machine Learning approaches to address business needs for both MVP and industrialisation. 

• Identify risks and technical KPIs. 

• Co-design the target architecture of the product in collaboration with Data Engineers, Devops/MLops and architect. 

• Building a model for its industrialisation. 

• Optimise the model thanks to the Features Engineering & hyperparameter settings. 

• Test & iterate different parameters based on user feedback. 

• Develop a battery of tests to prepare the industrialisation of the model. 

• Solve model problems during the industrialisation phase. 

• Explain technical choices

• Read & present state-of-the-art papers 

Who You Are

• Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, information technology, mathematics, physics or related field

• Experience with and/or a strong interest in developing algorithms and scientific programming

• Demonstrated knowledge of Python

• Demonstrated knowledge of database design and SQL programming

• Demonstrate analytical skills and critical thinking

• Good level of English (written and spoken)

Technical skills

• Successful experiences in Data Sciences projects for major accounts. 

• Experiences in python coding, kaggle challenge... 

• In-depth knowledge of Data Science algorithms and at least one successful experience in the development of a Machine Learning model. 

• Mastery of data processing languages (Python, SQL, R, etc.). 

• Knowledge of Cloud technologies and services (GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.). 

• Ability to work on on-premise technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Scala) or Cloud. 

• Strong technical curiosity and strength of proposal in the selection of models. 

• Experience of projects in agile mode (backlog, sprint planning, sprint demo, etc.). 

• Knowledge of deep-learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow).
