IT ENGINEER (Firmware Programer)

An off-shore company based in Tunis and working in the fields of Oil & Gas and Chemical Industries is looking to reinforce its team for the following positions:

IT ENGINEER (Firmware Programmer) 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Design and develop firmware;Perform design and code reviews and recommend improvements

Perform testing to validate product architecture and design

Collaborate with others on technical and design issues

Develop firmware algorithms to handle exceptional conditions and errorsInstall and verify firmware on embedded system

Troubleshoot system, performance and functional issues with firmware/hardware

Execute projects within defined scope, budget and timelines

Evaluate technical specification for correctness and completeness

Prepare reports on project status, issues and risks for management

Assist in optimizing firmware to achieve performance standards

Provide product support to customers promptly and accurately

Documentation for implemented software and user manual

Other projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Education:

Minimum of 5 years firmware experience

Proficient knowledge of C programming as well as low level code

Knowledge of real-time operating multi-task systems

Good understanding of hardware and electrical design, both analog and digital

Detail oriented

Self-motivated
