Information Analyst

The ICRC Delegation in Libya – temporarily located in Tunis - seeks to fill the following position:

                                                                                 Information Analyst

                                                                           The position is based in Tunis

The position is part of the ICRC Libya Communication team and requires a person having solid experience in research, media monitoring with a strong capacity to gather, synthesize and share timely information on specific humanitarian topics

MAIN TASKS

• To gather news and analysis on Libya of humanitarian and socio-political nature

• To share daily media monitoring focusing on topical issues

• To provide topical research on specific themes and issues

  REQUIRED PROFILE

• Master’s degree in media studies, social sciences

• Experience as a researcher, journalist or working in NGO / Think Tank etc

• Very good knowledge of Libyan socio-political environment

• Knowledge of Libyan and Foreign media which covers Libya a must

• Fully proficient and shall be able to write and translate well in English and Arabic. Knowledge of French extremely useful for this role.
