Pre-sales engineer

CALTROP,  a company operating in the IT services & consulting field is recruiting a junior Engineer to develop its activities in Storage, Cloud, Security and Data Management Solutions. We are seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Engineer to join our team.

Duties:

• Work with customer technical leads and partners to manage and deliver successful implementations of cloud, data storage, security and data management solutions.
• Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
• Propose architectures for products and manage the deployment of solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practices
• Performs all deployments, maintenance, configuration to the Network, Data and Storage systems.
• Provisions storage, monitors capacity and provides support of the storage environment and backups.
• Works on storage related tasks such as volume creation, provisioning, virtualization and data migration.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience implementing or administrating in one of the following : Data security, storage infrastructure, operating enterprise backup systems, data management systems in the cloud &/or on-prem and Virtualization. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education, certification and experience
• A team player with the ability to work well with other team members across different locations
• A solution-oriented attitude in a highly innovative and dynamic work environment
• Eagerness to tackle challenging tasks
• Excellent written and communication skills in French and English language
• Able to work autonomously with minor supervision and as a member of a team
