Mission

The Purchasing manager is responsible for the procurement Group through the development and implementation of purchasing strategies and policies and the management of supplier relationship.  He is responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment in a timely and cost effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.

He has to ensure effective and efficient sourcing of locally managed Product and Non Product Related Materials and Services (Raw&Packs, Supply Chain, Commerce and Business Services related purchases) of the right quality and right quantity, delivered at the right time, at optimal cost and in the respect of the procedures. Deliver competitive advantage from group deals and local deals to the company and manage the  Procurement team

Profile

Master degree in accouniting, business, finance, commercial, economic or related discipline, a working knowledge and experience of Finance/Audit, in a large business environment.

Line management experience

Understanding of Purchasing and Supply Chain

Project Management experience

Proactive in identifying and solving problems/issues

A drive for continuous professional development in self and others

Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building capabilities. Have the ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence solutions at a senior level
