Our client is a leader in the Djibouti market of Construction. Due to their development they are currently looking for a General Manager to oversee the activities of the company.
Missions :
As General Manager, your duties will include:
- To manage the local team of permanent and temporary workers
- To assure projects are progressing efficiently
- To coordinate worker's schedules ensuring each person completes their work in proper order
- To apply and enforce safety rules to make sure all workers have the right tools and equipment
- To interface with the government, financial institutions and trade professionals
- To determine budgets, business plans and schedules for each project
- To provide the correct reporting to your management
- Master in Business Adminstration or Economics
Must be a member of chartered professional body(construction)
Profil :
You hold a Degree in Engineering, preferably civil or structural. You have a minimum of ten years of progressively experience in the Construction sector and you are specialized in Civil Construction.
You have excellent proven technical skills and your major asset is to manage multi cultural teams.
You have a real entrepreneurship attitude and you like to work in a competitive and challenging environment.
10 years Construction Experience in a managerial/decision making postion
