Qualification:

- Civil Engineering education with additional Inspection qualification.

- 5 years and above experience in handling Civil Jobs especially work supervision.

- Experience in supervising project and team activities.

- Capable of handling subordinates.

- Good working knowledge with codes and Standards relating to civil works and related disciplines (Structural, Electrical, plumbing, HVAC etc.).

- Computer literacy and good English knowledge in communication and writing.

Tasks and responsibilities:

- Follow up and verify all documentations proposed by the Contractor.

- Participate to the reception of material and equipment.

- Direct and coordinate project construction within company policies and procedures.

- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of works.

- Establish methods to meet work schedule and coordinate work activities with other.

- Resolve problem and recommend measures to improve productivity.

- Supervision construction works.

- Allocating work to construction and installation on daily basis.

- Attending scheduled and ad-hoc meetings.

- Coordinating with Contractor for any modification work.

- Checking of as-built drawings.

- Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews.

- Ensure that company HSEQ standards are fully applied and that all activities supervised are performed with the proper degree of safety and environment protection.

- Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee vacations, back-up for absent employee.

- Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy construction problem.

- Communicate with PTU Project Engineer, Engineering Manager and Contractor representative in site.

- Establish and maintain a positive community relationships with contractors, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary.

- Confer with contractor and Project Engineer to ensure coordination of purchasing, construction, fabrication and transport.

- Supervise the preparation of the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, organisation and procedures.

- Promote the reporting of incidents and anomalies.

- Responsible for Qa/Qc for the project.

- Approve and safeguard work permits (in cooperation with HSEQ Technician).

Prepare and send scheduled reports (Daily, Weekly, etc).
