For our subsidiary HUBER+SUHNER Tunisia located in Sousse, we are looking for:
Materials Manager
Summary of main purpose of this job:
Purchasing of components and semi-finished goods for the production of H+S Tunisia
Demand and production planning for H+S Tunisia
Ensure stock optimized and demand oriented material availability through active inventory management
Apply the Global Management System processes in the Logistic planning area
Main tasks and duties:
Operative Demand Planning Processes
o Trend analysis and implementation of appropriate actions
o BOM Breakdown analysis
Operative Production Planning Processes
o Planning and reservation of required internal
o Proactive management of capacity bottlenecks
o Conversion of planned production and stock transfer orders
o Monitoring of deadlines and alerts
o Identification, implementation and optimization of postponements and pull-ins
o Active support in identification and realization of logistics improvements
o In coordination with the production department, initiate adequate actions to optimize and adjust capacity to the customer
requirements in the local production
Operative Sourcing Processes
o Submission of RFI/RFQ for delivery dates
o Evaluation, adjustment and conversion of purchasing requisitions
o Setup of quantity contracts negotiated by headquarter
o Monitoring of deadlines and alerts
o Handling of supplier quality issues and return orders
o Forecast alignment with local c-suppliers
o Handling of quality management in case of supplier complaints
Master Data management
o Execution of related PLM workflow objects
o Monitoring and maintenance of SAP data
Essential requirements of skills, experience:
1) Very good understanding of purchasing and planning through experience and education
2) Knowledge in working with SAP system or adequate modern planning and purchasing systems
3) Experienced with logistics processes
4) Good understanding of complex relations
5) Economic thinking
6) High degree of customer orientation
7) Solution oriented, structured and efficient working style
8) Good English skills written and verbal
9) Good communication skills, open minded
