Job Summary

The HR PLANT MANAGER, reporting hierarchically to Tunisia Site Manager, ensures the development and proper implementation of HR strategy for the Tunisian plant, providing support to the Local Management Team and driving the human capital improvement.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Management on HR topics, ensuring the legal compliance by the application of the national labour law

  • Drive, negotiate and implement protocol agreement with Trade Unions according to General Management, represents the company in collective and individual labor litigation

  • Analyse, manage and review internal compensation structure and employee classification to support company strategy in accordance with national laws and regulations

  • Drive employee’s development, guarantee managerial skills improvement, coach and mentor staff, create and manage career path and succession plans

  • Design and implement staff performance management process, identifying and analyzing KPI for performance effectiveness measurement, driving team improvement and the achievement of the organizational goals.

  • Manage Payroll and Personnel administration activities and ensure the annual HR budgeting process

  • Ensure a proper internal communication towards workers

To succeed in this position the ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Economy, Law, Work Psychology

  • 10+ plus years of proven experience in Human Resources, including at least 5 years of experience in Management role is required

  • Experience in an international manufacturing company

  • Excellent knowledge of Tunisian labour legislation and of the main HR processes

  • Strong experience in Trade Union negotiation

  • Ability to deal with employees with different backgrounds

  • Good problem solving skills;

  • Excellent presentation and communications skills

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Fluent in English, French; Italian will be a plus

  • Advanced use of MS Office and reporting tools.
