Description de l'annonce:

The role of the Business Plan Application /TM1 is to:

  • ensure functional support to users in the designated domain(s) while providing consultancy and motivation to the functional management in using the Business Plan (BP) application(s). He is responsible for for the second level support (L2) for the BP application, working in close collaboration with functional and technical internal and external support teams
  • ensure enhancements of existing (BP Tool) and development of new TM1 applications
  • lead validation of new versions, including testing automatization

 

Main missions and results:

  • Coordinates end-users trainings
    • Contributes to adjust training documentation to site specifics
    • Plan and execute training programs (in coordination with key users)
    • Actively promotes better utilization of applications and document user procedures
    • Deliver updated communication to application owners

 

  • Performs 2nd level end-user support
    • eceives incidents from the 1st level-support (Helpdesk)
    • Investigate and correct problems in close relation with the Helpdesk (L1), and internal / external L3 support team(s)
    • Documents solutions/results about incidents/demands in the ticket management system
    • Provides either remote (phone, remote-control) or in situ support
    • Evaluate, anticipate and rate present and future challenges and collaborate with BG, Application owner, and L3 support in order to establish priorities
    • If relevant, identifies and escalates problems to the site management and/or to the 3rd level Competence Center
    • Actively contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of the support chain

 

  • Ensures development of the enhancements / new applications following GIS standards
  • Participates in the roll-out of application corrections and improvements
    • Participates in all test phases of the application(s)
    • Guarantee the implementation of quality standardized procedures
    • Delivers communication packages to Business Group (BG) application owner
  • Contributes to the lifecycle management of the application(s) for his/her functional domain
    • Collects and describes local requirements from sites (Requests For Change)
    • Contribute to gap analysis, elaborate on functional specifications, and coordinates their validation
    • Facilitates the establishment of priorities
    • Communicates decisions to the BG application owner
  • Ensures Continuous Improvement in his/her functional domain
    • Analyse statistics in real time and ensure regular hierarchical reporting.
    • Recognize and anticipate common/persisting problems and advise management accordingly.
    • Maintains coherence and consistency of data by executing periodic tests
    • Helps the functions take actions in order to promote best practices and improve the data quality
    • Actively contributes to improving the quality and efficiency of the support chain to improve satisfaction of final users

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate should have / be :

  • Information Technologies background with a strong interest for mathematic modelling and Business Intelligence
  • Knowledge of Cognos TM1
  • Several years of experience in the appropriate domain of expertise (B.I.,Costing, Finance, Controlling)
  • Ideally experienced in a similar role, if possible in an industrial company
  • Ability to communicate, take initiative, and react
  • Good communication and expression skills in an international environment
  • Good level of English compulsory
  • Solid decision-making skills with ability to act autonomously when appropriate
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure is beneficial
  • Team player strongly focused on consistent delivery and quality with a service-oriented mindset
  • Master degree in Business School

 

Travel:

Ideal candidate would be willing to travel regularly upto 30%
