For our subsidiary HUBER+SUHNER Tunisia located in Sousse, we are looking for a:
Local Lean Champion
Summary of main purpose of this job:
· Provide support and guide development of Lean projects in the plant operations area as well as in offices.
· Promote understanding and applications of Lean principles
· Close cooperation with management as well as plant staff in all departments
Main tasks and duties:
1. Train and develop the plant staff including workers on lean principles and tools
2. Implement communication tools to foster the lean environment and promote the Lean culture
3. Implement Go Lean! road map and ensure sustainability of improvement actions
4. Deeply involve the staff to participate to the Lean activities and solutions definition
5. Ensure on-time completion of Lean activities
6. Regularly report Lean activities and achievement to the plant management team and to the Group Lean Champion
7. Coordinate lean activities in offices
8. Propose improvements of production processes to enhance safety, quality, efficiency and delivery
9. Collect observations, ideas and solutions from the staff and provide ongoing guidance for an effective implementation
10. Gather and share best practices from /with other H+S sites.
11. Animate / guide Lean continuous improvement workshops (5S, VSM, Hoshin, problem solving, …)
Essential requirements of skills, experience:
1. Degree in Electrical, industrial, mechanical engineering or equivalent
2. Experience of 3 to 6 years in Lean coordination or continuous improvement
3. Good knowledge of Lean principles, tools and practices in industry
4. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, to prioritize work tasks and maintain focus
5. Ability to effectively animate continuous improvement workshops until full implementation of the action plans and
achievement of set objectives.
6. Ability to work with all levels of the organization as well as in different Group networks (such as Go lean network)
7. Very good communication skills is key to achieve common goals
8. Fluent English in read, spoken and written.
