As a member of the Security Operation Center, you will be part of a dynamic and growing security program with a focus on security intelligence and anomaly hunting. You will be required to maintain timely knowledge of the evolving threat landscape and partner with the other members of the team to ensure cohesive awareness of threats and security trends relevant to the industry.

Your role will involve:

• Conduct in-depth and open-source research and analysis to provide cyber intelligence reports and threat assessments.
• Review events from diverse network, endpoint and security sources to identify threats and incidents.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of data to establish threat actors’ motives, targets, and intentions
• Assess the implications of cybersecurity incidents in geopolitical and industry-specific contexts
• Assist with the preparation of reports and briefings.
• Contribute to the identification of process inefficiencies and improvement of threat intelligence services, methodologies, or proprietary tools through short to moderate-term projects.

Exigences de l'emploi:

In return, you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
• At least 1 year experience in SOC operations and security event analysis preferred.
• Significant theoretical and practical knowledge in the following areas:
  • Unix, Linux, Windows, etc. operating systems
  • Networking concepts, routing protocols, and systems
  • Current information security tools and technologies
  • Cyber threat landscape including tracked actors and attacker tools and techniques
  • Fundamental Internet protocols, services and technologies
• Ability to process large amounts of data from a variety of different technologies and think critically
• Clear and concise communication both verbally and in writing.
• Effective time management and organizational skills to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solid teamwork skills
