Category Development Manager/Brand Manager
Affiliated with the Marketing department
Main Mission:
Support Category Manager to deliver strong Country Category plan to generate strong business results for the category.
Your main responsibilities:
Develops briefs for the implementation of planned consumer activities, obtains the required approval, co-ordinates the execution with different stakeholders in order to achieve planned results, on time and within the approved budget.
Makes actionable proposals to the Category Manager to improve planning and results of similar activities in the future.
Gathers and analyzes data on the consumer, market trends, competition, government policies, the general economic environment and on internally generated reports to support category planning/ development at country level. Develop action plans based on learnings from trade and in home visits
Manages sampling specific to the category
Pre and Post evaluate consumer activities and obtains the required approvals
Understands shopping behaviours and motivations of target consumers, helps Channel Dev Manager to design shopping experiences that delight consumers / shoppers. Develops brand/product portfolio strategy, contributes to pricing and promotional strategy, proposes brand/product portfolio for key channels and key customers
Initiate necessary research of the Country in coordination with marketing services department to better understand market & consumer trends
Required Profile:
Minimum 4 years experience in marketing or 4 years in other function, ideally in Sales or equivalent

Fluency in French and English is a MUST
