CRIT is recruiting for a multinational industry
Channel Development Manager
Affiliated with the Marketing department
your main responsibilities are:
- Responsible
to define strategies and plans that deliver category growth in priority
channels based on consumer, shopper and customer requirements.
- Reponsible
to develop and propose the in-store vision of success (picture of succes) for
the category/sub category in each channel. Support its implementation and
continuously review the effectiveness of our in-store actions.
- Responsible
to drive & follow up of instore plans: promotions, visibility, instore
sampling and all other actions instore
- Accountable
to define overall priority sub-channels (Shop type), and categories within the
channel to deliver Channel growth based on shopper and customer requirements,
working with Category Development Managers to be in line with overall category
strategies.
- Accountable
and responsible for coordinating the ICP and delivering channel plan by
identifing the key opportunities (incorporating shopper behaviour in that
channel, channel specific promotional learnings, competitor analysis and best
practice inputs) and develop a commercial activity calendar for the channel.
- Accountable
for recommending suitable product format, packing size and trade margin base on
shopper insight and retailer understanding within the prioritised channel.
- Accountable
and Responsible for recommending channel price of promotional guidelines based
on shopper/retailer understanding, brand positioning and current market
knowledge. Ensure all promotional investment is properly reviewed and
evaluated.
- Responsible
for dedicated TTS booked for promotional activities which are specific to the
category & accountable of defining TTS target & monthly follow up with
sales
- Responsible
for preparing for MSR meeting,- collecting and preparing information for sales
uplift based on ICP.- reviewing the sales forecast
- Accountable
and Responsible to ensure a category knowledge to Regional Manager and TT field
sales & an understanding on channel
strategies and priorities.- finalizing action plans to close gap together with
Regional managers.
- understanding
key customers by doing fieldwork with Regional Sales Promotion
- Accountable
for ensuring an agreed category baseline with supply chain & sales &
recomanding sell out volume build up for the category based on promotional
callender & marketing initiatives
- Responsible
to deliver a selling concept to sales when new product launch
- Develop
channel MBS vision and strategy for the category
Required Profile:
- Bachelor
degree's in Commercial related fields (MBA is preferable)
- 4-5 years
experience in FMCG trade marketing or sales or marketing or exhibits strong
functional skill and leadership capabilities.
- Experience in Key Account Management or sales is essential
- Demonstrable record of success in a customer (not limited to Key Accounts)
facing role.
- Understands customers and the selling process.
- Good
knowledge of key business functions.
- Working Knowledge of core Business Processes
e.g. Integrated Commercial Planning.
- Working
knowledge of Competition Law.
- Understanding
of Shopper, Market Intelligence sources, Category/Channel/Shopper trends.
