MORE's product development strategy begins with fishing rods and carbon fiber based equipment (including OEM components for other manufactures). Employment Opportunity: Sales Representative

 

MORE SARL has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing sales and marketing strategies and increasing sales revenue. The Sales Representative will be responsible for following existing leads, generating new leads, qualifying prospective customers and managing sales of products and services. The Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends and competition to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.

The position requires demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy and professionalism. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and understand the critical value of being honest and trustworthy in all circumstances. The ability to maintain confidentiality for all aspects of the company is critical.  The position requires flexibility and availability consistent with the needs of the Management Team.

 

About MORE SARL:

 

MORE SARL is a newly created Tunisian manufacturer of recreational equipment.  Initial focus is on the production of high quality and cost effective fishing equipment for the international market. Located in Tabarka, Tunisia MORE has an on-site US management team with more than 40 years of combined experience in management and engineering.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·  Provide exceptional service to domestic and international customers and suppliers.

·  Evaluate customer’s needs and build productive long lasting relationships.

·  Meet personal and company sales targets; negotiating and closing sales contracts.

·  Develop sales strategies and forecasts; evaluating and reporting on their effectiveness.

·  Attend meetings, trainings, self-study, etc. to keep current with respect to the latest product developments and sales/marketing methods.

·  Maintain and expand customer database within assigned region.

·  Receive customer feedback to assist with company’s product development efforts.

·  Handle incoming and outgoing communications (email, phone, fax, written correspondence, etc.) with respect to sales and marketing.

·  Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence.

·   Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients.

·  Training will be provided with production techniques so he/she can help the development team with new products or product revisions and general production tasks when necessary.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Personal Traits:

 

·  High moral and ethical standards.

·  Leads by example with humility and sensitivity to the needs of others.

·  Good judgment and discretion regarding items of a sensitive or confidential nature.

·  Sees (and communicates) the big picture and can maintain vision of the long-term goals while working on the immediate.

·  Detailed and results oriented with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

·  Effective oral and written communication in the form of written procedures, written reports, oral presentations, translation, training, etc.

·  Contract negotiation.

·  Extensive computer knowledge and skills; Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, Excel; aptitude for additional software.

·  Fluent in English, French and Arabic.

·  Experience with or understanding of Tunisian business practices is desired.

·  The ability to provide translation, interpretation and cultural insights for the management team is a plus.

·  The job requires significant travel to current and potential customers. This requires a valid driver’s license and passport.

 

Salary and Employment:

 

·  Initial hiring will be based on a 90-day trial period.  After 90 days, the employee’s aptitude and performance will be reviewed after which a long-term job may be offered.

·  Salary will be based upon experience and initial performance.
