MORE is a manufacturing company specializing in advanced composite based sporting equipment. MORE's product development strategy begins with fishing rods and carbon fiber based equipment (including OEM components for other manufactures). These products will develop MORE's technical competency in composite manufacturing and allow for future expansion into other performance equipment in response to market demand.

Description de l'annonce:

MORE SARL  has an immediate opening for a Technician.

The Technician will provide support for equipment and processes related to the manufacturing of fishing rods and other sports equipment. Additionally, they will aid in the configuration/development of new products and manufacture standard products as necessary.  The ideal candidate will be capable of performing a diverse set of tasks with a high level of quality, accuracy and efficiency.  The position will require working with small parts, repetitive assembly, use of specialized electronic and mechanical equipment, periodic computer use and the ability to assess the visual quality of decorative threadwork, paint and other properties of MORE products.

Key characteristic for success include the ability to function with a team of people in a cooperative manner, a desire for continuous improvement, and a hands on work style. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and understand the critical value of being honest and trustworthy. The ability to maintain confidentiality for all aspects of the company is critical.  The position requires flexibility and availability consistent with the needs of the Management Team.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·  Adherence to MORE’s quality management and manufacturing philosophies.

·  Perform cleaning, testing and preparation of incoming materials to assure that resulting products meet MORE’s and customer specifications.

·  Perform routine manufacturing operations as well assisting with new product development.

·  Quality control (develop tests/processes to verify that products meet specifications).

·  Maintain clean and organized production environment.

·  Perform specialized tasks at the direction of MORE Management and Engineering.

·  Develop/maintain equipment and processes to support manufacturing.

·  Train other production personnel on processes and products.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Personal Traits:

 

·  High moral and ethical standards. Honesty, integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

·  Leads by example with humility and sensitivity to the needs of others.

·  Good judgment and discretion regarding items of a sensitive or confidential nature.

·  Creative and capable of providing input to new product and process designs.

·  Detailed and results oriented with particular emphasis on quality and efficiency.

·  Effective communication skills and the ability to precisely follow oral or written instructions.

·  Computer knowledge and skills; competence with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with CAD systems and computer programming is a plus.

·  Knowledge of mechanical design, control systems and electronics is highly desirable.

·  Experience with industrial or automotive painting, machining, carbon fiber or fiberglass fabrication and plastic/rubber molding is desirable.

 

Salary and Employment:

 

·  Initial hiring will be based on a 90-day trial period.  After 90 days, the employee’s aptitude and performance will be reviewed after which a long term job may be offered.

·  Salary will be based upon experience and initial performance.
