MORE is a manufacturing company specializing in advanced composite based sporting equipment. Strategically located in Tunisia, MORE leverages local economic factors, proximity to target markets, and the proven ability of its founders to develop and supply high quality, high value goods. These factors, along with the desire of the founders to market directly within North Africa make MORE the only manufacturer of its kind in the region.

MORE's product development strategy begins with fishing rods and carbon fiber based equipment (including OEM components for other manufactures). These products will develop MORE's technical competency in composite manufacturing and allow for future expansion into other performance equipment in response to market demand.

MORE SARL  has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant.

The primary function of the position is to provide all manner of support to the Management Team in the daily operation of MORE SARL. The position requires demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy and professionalism. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and understand the critical value of being honest and trustworthy. The ability to maintain confidentiality for all aspects of the company is critical. The position requires flexibility and availability consistent with the needs of the Management Team.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·  Handling incoming and outgoing communications (email, phone, fax, written correspondence, etc.) on behalf of the company.

·  Maintain company calendar (appointments, shipping schedules, etc.)

·  Work in conjunction with other employees within various functions.

·  Maintain a clean and well organized office area including filing systems, financial records, production records, customer information, etc.

·  Provide exceptional service to domestic and international customers and suppliers.

·  Maintain office supplies, business cards, envelopes, marketing materials, etc.

·  Assist with inventory, material tracking and production data entry.

·  Assist with production tasks as necessary.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Personal Traits:

 

·  High moral and ethical standards. Honesty, integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

·  Leads by example with humility and sensitivity to the needs of others.

·  Good judgment and discretion regarding items of a sensitive or confidential nature.

·  Sees (and communicates) the big picture and can maintain vision of the long term while working on the immediate.

·  Detailed and results oriented with particular emphasis on quality and efficiency.

·  Effective oral and written communication in the form of written procedures, written reports, oral presentations, translation, training, etc.

·  Extensive computer knowledge and skills; Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, Excel; aptitude for additional software.

·  Experience with or understanding of Tunisian business practices.

·  Fluent in French and Arabic and must understand applicable written English terms on invoices and forms.

·  The ability to provide translation, interpretation and cultural insights for the management team is a plus.

 

Salary and Employment:

 

·  Initial hiring will be based on a 90-day trial period.  After 90 days, the employee’s aptitude and performance will be reviewed after which a long term job may be offered.

·  Salary will be based upon experience and initial performance.
