This role will have two major responsibilities; Benefits Administration and HR Operations.  The position is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of the employee’s benefits programs (medical insurance, medical checks, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and work accident plan). The Benefits Administrator also provides excellent customer service and support to employees, investigates on medical insurance employee’s claims, improves existing programs, and coordinates with the medical insurance providers.  The Benefits Administrator also monitors the absence management and ensures absence records are accurate.

Although this role is located in Tunis this role is part of a Global HR Operations team, this role may spend up to 50% of their job on answering employee questions over the phone or email across any of the Cimpress locations.

Functional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as a point of contact for resolution of claims and escalated issues related to employee’s medical insurance.
  • Follow-up with employees on incomplete applications and/or missing documents.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related questions.
  • Coordinate transfer of employee’s medical applications to third party administrators.
  • Being in charge of administration of Employee’s medical file.
  • Organize and schedule the yearly employee’s medical checks.
  • Monitor the absence management process and update the HR system with all details related to justified/unjustified sickness, short-term and long-term absence
  • Ensure absence records are accurate and up to date and make regular contact with long-term absent employees.
  • Supporting the day-to-day responsibilities associated with HR processes and administration
  • Liaise with HR functional areas/centers of excellence and internal departments to ensure best business practices are followed.
  • Provide backup support to other areas of human resources as required.
  • Be a main point of contact for employee questions on Global HR related questions both on the phone in person and by managing the myHR queue.
  • Supports the integration of standard processes for the different locations
  • Ensure HR data accuracy in all systems (SAP etc.)
  • Create certificates and letters of reference
  • Collaborate with other local and global HR Operations projects.

Profile  

  • Relevant degree and experience in an HR department performing similar tasks.
  • Strong working knowledge of Benefits Administration: medical insurance management.
  • 2 years’ experience in Benefits Administration in a high‐volume fast paced work environment.
  • High commitment to customer service to our internal clients.
  • Strong vendor management skills. 
  • Natural organizational skills and ability to multi-task while remaining focused.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use HRIS systems
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and work well under pressure while meeting strict deadlines
